Using Salome Meca computing environment to solve problems of solid mechanics
Ptáček, Tomáš ; Vaculka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
Given bachelors thesis deals with solutions of basic tasks of body mechanics with usage of the finite element method (FEM). An open-source software Salome Meca with Code_Aster solver is used there. Basic formulas of strength of materials on which is FEM based are introduces in the beginning. Then is presented software Salome Meca with its solver Code_Aster. Followed by own solution of tasks, which contain structural analysis and series of examples for solving the fracture mechanics. Numerical solutions from Salome Meca are compared with analytical solutions, if some exist, and with solutions from commercial software Ansys Workbench.
The usage of Salome Meca workbench for task solution in the field of solid mechanics
Anděl, Tomáš ; Návrat, Tomáš (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
Presented bachelor’s thesis focuses on solving basics tasks in the field of solid me-chanics by the finite-element open-source software Salome Meca. The theoretical background of finite element method (FEM), general explanation of basic expressions and brief summary of today’s used open-source and commercial software too is intro-duced in the opening part of the thesis. The brief overview of Salome Meca compu-ting environment and then file of individual tasks solved by using this software are followed. Acquired results are later compared with the other numerical software (ANSYS Workbench) or with analytical solutions.
Advanced proxy for penetration testing
Válka, Michal ; Vilém,, Šlesinger (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis focuses on improving the open-source proxy tool for penetration testing of thick clients. The thesis is divided into three main chapters, the first of which is focused on the theoretical background on which the thesis is based. The second chapter describes the analysis of the current state and defines user requirements, which must be met. The third chapter deals with increasing the quality and expanding the functionality based on user requirements. At the same time, a testing methodology is created and a vulnerable application is developed as a teaching material for the methodology. The chapter concludes with a summary of the economic costs and benefits of the application for the penetration testing process.
Digital Library
Krbeček, Daniel ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
The thesis contains basic information about image documents digitalization. A brief list of common used standards in Czech republic is shown. The standards can be used in description of digitalized documents by institutions such as libraries, scientific departments and universities. The thesis specifically solves the dilemma of the preservation and the accessing of B.P.Molls large map collection stored in Moravian Library in Brno city. It analyses step by step the characteristics of the saved documents, style of their interlacing and data representation. In terms of deposition and manipulation it comes with description list of open-source digital libraries and it chooses the Fedora repository. It solves methods of object-model implementation while using this digital library. The functional parts are web presentation of the mentioned map collection and an effectiveness test showing large-scale maps using the flash Zoomify browser. Web presentation uses the repository services as often as possible, and thus allows searching and searching through the bibliographic records of the presented documents. The end of the thesis sums up the obtained results and presents the incoming development course of presentation and popularization of the map collection.
Analysis of current statistical reports and SW tools for evaluation of energy systems
Pololáník, Pavel ; Liška, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the issue of statistical reporting Energy regulátory office ČR. The introduction describes the contents regularly published reports on the operation of the electricity system in the Czech Republic. In the thsis deals with the analysis of statistical reports.
